Kamakura has an abundance of old Buddhist temples which are truly a site to visit. You can't help but be overcome with a sense of calm - most of all here, in this bamboo grove. Seeing a bamboo grove was definitely on my wish list when visiting Tokyo and it lived up to the expectation.
