The Tsukiji Fish Market is a real working fish market that just happens to allow tourist to walk its corridors, but is also quick to ask that you don't make a nuisance of yourself because they will kick you out. Seeing as how seafood is such a quintessential part of Japanese food and culture, I felt it was a necessary part of my trip to Tokyo.
