I was downtown at night without it being tied to an event (movie/concert/dinner etc), just me an my camera. As I was walking around I got back to thinking about my time in Tokyo and what made those pictures successful and started altering my approach to pictures in my own town. It was also the first time I've been down there since I got my 6D. For that and many other reasons, I felt my approach was different than all the other times I had gone down there before. And I expect to be down there quite a bit this year.
